Helen Solomon, of Omaha, age 67, preceded in death by her father;
step-father; brothers; and a nephew. Survived by daughters Sonia Kelley
Gunter and Shawn Kelley; mother Mildred Powell; brothers Johnny Shobe, Jr.,
Charles Albert (Rose) Burgess, Douglas (Lucille) Powell, LeRoy (Delores)
Powell, Jr.; her sisters Lillian (Marvin) Ware and Malinda (Robert Thornton)
Shobe, Valada (Jeannie) Powell; grandchildren Trenton Gunter, Cameron
Kelley, Tristen Kelley; great grandchildren Leon Houston and Cordai Beck;
special niece Shannon Shobe and special nephew Tremaine Acoff and a host of
nieces and nephews.
Visitation, 4-8pm Thursday with family greeting friends 6-8pm at the funeral
home.
Services, 1pm Friday at King Solomon Baptist Church 3202 Evans St.
